MEDUSA CONTEMPORARY
ADDITIONAL MEDUSA reproduction of Caravaggio's Medusa. In Greek mythology "Medusa" was a mythological creature, described as a hideous woman who has snakes in the head instead of hair and head cut. "Medusa" has the ability to calcify on anyone in the eye, turning them into stone those who looked into her eyes. In classical antiquity, the image of Medusa has been used as a device for removing evil spirits.

In painting I realized the opposite face of Caravaggio, I attempt on that hideous creature, with that face that frightens the viewer, but in a gentle and clear way what he considers the world, always with a smile, a kiss meaningfully. I chose to introduce my face in that picture because I thought it was interesting to be opposite . She frightening Medusa I cute.

THE FULL STORY
My name is Andreea Tanasa.
I was born on the 9th October 1994, in my native country Romania.
I finished the Theological Seminary Orthodox Christian. There I paint and draw especially the faces of the Saints and the deeds of his life.
Art is part of my life.
I also finished the University of Arts and Design in Iasi, Romania.
There I learned that art means everything for me.
From art you can do anything you want, whatever you imagine in your head can always become reality.
Everything I painted, I always painted my soul and my heart.
